
Alice Gonzalez Yates

Alice is a mission-driven professional focused on creating high performing teams, designing sustainable programs, and cultivating long-term strategic partnerships to advance organizational success. With both public and private sector experience in South Dakota, Texas, Germany, Kansas, Florida and Virginia, Alice brings a unique perspective, leveraging excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and loyalty amongst stakeholders.
For the past four years, Alice led strategic initiatives at Texas A&M University’s Bush School of Government & Public Service Washington D.C. teaching site with the goal of ensuring donor success, elevating program relevance and increasing student opportunities through philanthropy. A highlight of Alice’s career in public service is being recognized as a “Yellow Rose of Texas” by the Texas Governor’s Office for positively impacting the state through service.
Alice is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Development and a graduate of the University of West Florida with a Master of Public Administration degree.
In addition to professional and service work, Alice is most proud to be the wife of fellow Aggie and Retired Air Force Colonel Nick Yates and mother to Ry, Cord, and Cael. Together with Nick, every free moment is dedicated to the journey of the family and their many passions.
