Stephanie Linder
Senior Director of Development
Stephanie Linder joined the George and Barbara Bush Foundation in April 2017 as Senior Director of Development. Stephanie leads the fundraising efforts for the Foundation which work to promote and secure the legacy of President George H.W. Bush and Mrs. Bush.
Previously, she was a Director of Development at Rice University. In this role, she managed fundraising efforts for Rice in the North and Southeast, together with Rice’s Public Art Program.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Communications, Stephanie moved to Washington, DC where she worked for Congressman Bill Archer TX-7 until his retirement in 2000. She continued her service to the 7th Congressional District of Texas as Executive Assistant to freshman Congressman John Culberson.
Following her time on the Hill, Stephanie served in the Administration of President George W. Bush as Associate Director in the Office of Presidential Advance, Public Liaison Program Manager for the 2004 G8 Summit, and as Public Affairs Specialist in the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
After leaving the White House, she accepted a position as Senior Counsel at the DC based public relations firm, Susan Davis International. Stephanie has served as an Emerging Leader with the James A. Baker Institute's Associate Roundtable and sat on the Executive Committee of the Emerging Leader Advisory Board and is a past volunteer for the Star of Hope and Houston Museum of Fine Arts.
Currently, Stephanie serves on the Advisory Board of The Archer Center, The University of Texas System in Washington, DC. She is a member of the Junior League of Houston, Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation’s Ladies for Literacy Guild, and a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s Trailblazers Committee.
