Houston Kickoff
Houston Mayor John Whitmire joined members of the Bush family, Secretary Andy Card, business leader Jim McIngvale, representatives of the Houston Police Department, and President Bush’s close friends to kick off President Bush’s 100th birthday week. This event was co-hosted by the George & Barbara Bush Foundation and the Houston First Corporation at the George Bush Monument in downtown Houston’s Sesquicentennial Park.
