George H.W. Bush did not want a triumphal procession after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Now the U.S. Embassy honors him with a statue in a prominent place.

The George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum and the George & Barbara Bush Foundation held its topping-out ceremony for its new building that's set to help attract more visitors than ever before.

The George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum welcomed visitors to celebrate it 25th anniversary. Visitors were allowed free admission into the museum all day, with the evening celebration kicking off at 5 p.m.

The new building and exhibit are expected to be completed in June of 2024 around the time that would have been President Bush’s 100th Birthday.
