George & Barbara Bush Foundation dedicated the building, unveiled a new Baker exhibit, and celebrated a legacy that helped shape American diplomacy.

On Wednesday, September 24, the George & Barbara Bush Foundation hosted “An Evening with David Rubenstein,” featuring a conversation between David Rubenstein—philanthropist, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of The Carlyle Group, and New York Times best-selling author—and Jeb Bush, the 43rd Governor of Florida.

The George Bush Presidential Library and the George & Barbara Bush Foundation honor the 35th anniversary of the ADA, signed by President Bush in 1990. To mark the occasion, the Library digitized the Lex Frieden Collection, highlighting key advocacy, legislation, and global efforts that helped secure disability rights and inclusion.

At the White House today, the U.S. Postal Service revealed the artwork of a commemorative Forever stamp to celebrate the centennial year of former first lady Barbara Bush’s birth.

The George & Barbara Bush Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Alice Gonzalez Yates as its Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1, 2025. Yates, a respected leader in nonprofit management and fundraising, was selected by the Board of Directors to succeed Secretary Andrew H. Card, Jr.
